Seth Jones netted two goals and Arvid Söderstrom made 37 saves as the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Arizona Coyotes 5-2 on Tuesday night.
Jones, Nick Foligno, Philipp Kurashev and Jason Dickinson all scored for the Blackhawks (16-42-5). Rookie phenom Connor Bedard recorded two assists as Chicago snapped a seven-game losing streak.
Michael Carcone and Nick Bjugstad registered both goals for the Coyotes (25-32-2). Clayton Keller returned to the lineup after a four-game absence to play the 500th of his career.
The Coyotes fell into penalty trouble throughout the night, and the Blackhawks took advantage.
On a 5-on-3 power play, Chicago threatened in Arizona’s defensive zone before Jones fired a wrist shot that beat Ingram for a 1-0 Coyotes lead.
