A youthful Coyotes lineup wasn’t just an experiment during training camp.
It’s how they’ll look to start the season.
The Coyotes finalized their 23-man roster Tuesday, and five rookies – including three teenagers and four players with zero NHL experience – made the cut.
“We’ll be young,” coach Dave Tippett said. “We’re going to integrate some of these young players into our group. Hopefully they continue to grow as players and become good NHL players.”
Centers Dylan Strome, Christian Dvorak and Laurent Dauphin, winger Lawson Crouse and defenseman Jakob Chychrun are with the team in the lead-up to Saturday’s opener against the Flyers, and their play will decide how long they stay.
