The future of the Arizona Coyotes has been a regular topic for discussion in recent years and it appears that the team could have a new majority owner before the puck drops on the 2019/20 season.
David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reports that current owner Andrew Barroway is in discussions over the sale of the majority of his stake in the team, though things are not quite finalised – potentially needing time over the summer to bridge the gap.
However, it does appear that some ground has been gained between Barroway and the interested parties, though any deal would still see the American businessman still retain a small share – seeing him extend his five-year involvement with the franchise.
