Things change fast in the NHL, in what feels like a blink of an eye, the Coyotes have gone from 1st in the Pacific and conference final appearance, to 6 straight years without a playoff game.
Something seems different this year though, maybe it’s the introduction of a two-time Stanley Cup Champion in Phil Kessel, or the growth of young players like Clayton Keller, Nick Schmaltz, Christian Dvorak, and Christian Fischer. Maybe it has something to do with the mere 4 points that separated the Coyotes from the playoffs and the golf course last season. This team is hungry, and they have the potential to really be something.
