The Erie Otters defeated the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL 12-5 in their second game of the Memorial Cup on Monday night.
Erie had this game in their dominant possession from the beginning, keeping the Saint John Sea Dogs to only 2 SOG in the first period. Just over a minute into the period, Taylor Raddysh (Tampa Bay) got Erie on the board early. Although the Otters controlled the tide, Saint John answered, with Cedric Paré roofing one past Erie goalie Troy Timpano to tie it up 1-1. Erie tightened up their game, getting one back less than a minute later by Darren Raddysh.
