Arizona Coyotes general manager Bill Armstrong has taken great pride over the years in acquiring a bevy of draft picks.
Now, it’s his chance to make a big impact on the trajectory of the franchise in a draft bursting with talent. Armstrong will have a lot to work with this year after acquiring 12 total picks, including two in the first round.
On Wednesday, the Coyotes will select from No. 6 and at No. 12, a pick the team acquired from the Ottawa Senators in the Jakob Chychrun trade.
The forward-heavy class offers intrigue for a rebuilding Coyotes group that already includes skilled forward prospects in Dylan Guenther, Logan Cooley, and Conor Geekie.
