Prior to tonights game against Arizona, the Montreal Canadiens were on a 4 game losing streak, where they had managed to score only 3 goals in that span and had spent the last 138 minutes and 8 seconds of game time on a scoreless streak. All that changed tonight against the Coyotes.
The Canadiens scored 2 goals on their first 5 shots in the opening period and for a while it looked like they were going to runaway with the match. But stellar play by Mike Smith, an excellent second period by the Coyotes and 3 Hab penalties allowed the Sedona Red to fight their way back into the match and start the third period with a 3-2 lead.
