Coyotes center Martin Hanzal’s pregame routine hasn’t received a major overhaul.
“Same music,” he said. “Same food.”
But what has changed in recent games is Hanzal’s production around the net.
The 6-foot-6 pivot has five points – three goals – in his past four games, rediscovering a point-per-game pace that headlined his performance through the first month-and-a-half of the season.
“I’m just healthy,” Hanzal said. “That’s a big part. I had a good start obviously in the regular season because I was healthy, and then I was battling some injuries. So it’s always tough to play with that, but lately I’ve been feeling good.
