Mark Scheifele scored twice and Cole Perfetti had a two-point night for the Winnipeg Jets as they beat the Arizona Coyotes 6-2 on Sunday night.
Being recalled by Arizona yesterday from the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL), Dylan Guenther made his season debut.
Vladislav Namestnikov got the scoring started off of a one-timer set up by Perfetti passing from behind the net with 2:44 left, giving the Jets a 1-0 lead.
Nikolaj Ehlers would then extend Winnipeg’s lead to 2-0 as he was falling and fired a wrist shot past Karel Vejmelka.
Nick Schmaltz scored his 12th goal of the season, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
