The signings keep coming, with the Arizona Coyotes announcing today that they had signed forward Liam Kirk to a three-year deal.
Kirk was drafted in the seventh round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, with the Coyotes selecting him 189th overall.
After being drafted, he came over to North America to play for the Peterborough Petes, and in 63 games, he had 26 goals and 21 assists. He had already surpassed that point total in 47 games (21-29-50) and was wearing an “A” when Covid-19 cut his season short.
Kirk spent this past season in Europe, playing 12 games for Hanhals IF in HockeyEttan and 14 games with the Sheffield Steelers in the EIHL Series.
