After pacing the field for the majority of the voting period, Coyotes winger John Scott officially secured a berth in the NHL All-Star Game Saturday as the captain of the Pacific Division.
Scott was one of four captains announced by the league with the Panthers' Jaromir Jagr (Atlantic Division), the Capitals' Alex Ovechkin (Metropolitan) and the Blackhawks' Patrick Kane (Central) named the other voting leaders.
In 11 games this season, the 33-year-old Scott has chipped in an assist with the Coyotes.
