With their fourth pick at the NHL Entry Draft, the Coyotes have selected their first defenseman in the draft, selecting Janis Moser.

Moser is one of the older players at the draft who was originally eligible to be drafted in 2018. He has played his entire career in Sweden, captaining his team EHC Biel-Bienne this past season.

In 48 games with EHC Biel-Bienne, he played in a career-high 48 games and finished with career-highs in goals (9) and assists (21). He also played for Team Switzerland at the World Championship and had two assists in seven games.
