One of the Arizona Coyotes’ top free agents is now locked up, with goaltender Ivan Prosvetov agreeing to a new one-year deal with the club, holding an AAV of $775,000, while his salary will be $225,000 when he is suiting up for the Tucson Roadrunners.
That is the expected starting point for the 24-year-old Russian, who will be the Roadrunners’ starting goaltender for the 2023-24 season, while Karel Vejmelka and Conor Ingram looking to cement themselves as the tandem for the Coyotes in the NHL after some positive performances last season.
Prosvetov remains the Coyotes’ top goaltending prospect, despite drafting the likes of Michael Hrabal in the 2023 Draft, and he has already had a sniff of life in the NHL with 13 games played across his young career to date.
