Former Arizona Coyote Phil Kessel is pursuing a continuance in his career this offseason. The unrestricted free-agent is in the midst of finding a fit for the 2023-24 season and is open to ending his ironman streak to do so.
Kessel, a three-time Stanley Cup champion, is the only player in NHL history to have played in 1,000 games in a row with a current streak of 1,064 games. The 35-year-old has been seeing good minutes on the ice, averaging 15:32 minutes per game over the last three seasons.
