It’s now two years in a row that Patrice Bergeron has beat out Jonathan Toews for the Frank J. Selke Trophy. The Boston Bruins forward took home the award Wednesday night in Las Vegas for the third time in the last four seasons.
From the NHL:
Bergeron garnered 1,083 voting points, including 75 first-place votes, to claim a photo finish decision over second-place Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks (1,051 points). The result recalls their neck-and-neck race for the trophy in 2013, when Toews edged Bergeron for the win by a 1,260-1,250 margin.
