For Coyotes forward Anthony Duclair, patience, perseverance and confidence has paid dividends.
A healthy scratch on a handful of occasions this season, Duclair has blossomed into a top-six forward who expects to see regular playing time going forward. Having played in just 25 of the team’s 33 games before Thursday, Duclair was tied for second on the team with seven goals and ranked fifth among forwards with 13 points.
Granted, three of those goals came in a hat-trick performance in Ottawa on Nov. 18, but the Quebec native has nonetheless transformed his game in wake of his early-season struggles.
