Coach Dave Tippett earned his 500th win Friday with a 2-1 overtime victory over the Flames.
“Five hundred wins as a coach, it’s a pretty amazing accomplishment,” goalie Mike Smith said. “It shows a lot about him.”
The Coyotes could win their third straight at home during this homestand with a victory tonight against the Senators.
“We have an opportunity to sweep three games at home here before going on the road,” Tippett said.
