Former Coyote calls it a career

Earlier today it was announced that Antoine Vermette has in fact, retired. The center played 14 years in the NHL and was a big part of the Arizona Coyotes history. The retirement was announced by the NHL Players Association.

Antoine Vermette leaves the game having played 1,046 games, totaling 515 points on 228 goals and 287 assists. Vermette was very good when it came to face-offs and surprisingly ranks 14th in terms of face-off wins in NHL history.
