Coyotes defenseman Jakob Chychrun will face the Panthers for the first time in Florida after growing up in the area.
“It’ll definitely be weird,” he said. “We have so many good memories here. I grew up a Panthers fan. To play against them now is pretty cool.”
This will also be winger Lawson Crouse’s first game in Florida since the Panthers traded him to the Coyotes last summer.
“He’s going to be a good player in this league for a long time,” coach Dave Tippett said.
