Yegor Sharangovich haunts the Arizona Coyotes once again as he scored the game-winner in overtime, leading the Calgary Flames to a 3-2 victory.
Nazem Kadri and Blake Coleman scored 1:03 apart in the third period before Sharangovich’s dagger sealed Calgary’s (21-18-5) win. Dan Vladar made 25 saves for the Flames who have won four-straight games.
Sean Durzi had a two-point night and Logan Cooley had the other goal for the Coyotes (21-18-3). Arizona are 2-4-1 in their last seven.
Besides a shot by Clayton Keller hitting the post, it was a defensive battle inside the neutral zone for almost the first half of the contest.
