Toronto (Canada) (AFP) - Russian legend Sergei Fedorov and star defensemen Nicklas Lidstrom, Chris Pronger and Phil Housley were among seven people named Monday as electees to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Joining them on the list of 2015 honorees was Angela Ruggiero, a member of the 1998 US Olympic women's ice hockey gold medal squad and an International Olympic Committee member; Bill Hay, former Calgary Flames and Hockey Canada president who is now the Hall of Fame chairman; and Peter Karmanos, owner of the NHL Carolina Hurricanes.
