Former Arizona Coyotes player Alexander Galchenyuk allegedly made violent threats while being stopped by Scottsdale police officers for an incident last week.
Galchenyuk allegedly threatened to "chop" an officer who responded to the hit-and-run incident and was agitated with curt and profane responses. He threatened to cut out the kidneys of the officer's family members, according to a police report obtained by The Arizona Republic.
“I’m gonna chop you, your wife, your daughter,” the police report quoted Galchenyuk as saying.
He allegedly showed signs of impairment and had a heavily slurred speech. When he was in the patrol car, he threatened to “chop” the officers and reached under his seat before being handcuffed.
