Ducks send Coyotes to 11th straight loss; power play drought reaches eight games

The Arizona Coyotes haven't scored a goal since the first period on Halloween, and the lack of offense led to a 3-0 loss to the Anaheim Ducks Friday night.

The Coyotes were shut out for the second straight game, Ducks backup goalie Anthony Stolarz doing the honors with saves. Arizona dropped to 0-10-1, tying a franchise record for the most losses to start a season set in 2017.

Karel Vejmelka, in his fourth straight start, stopped shots. He's been able to keep the Coyotes close, but Arizona has only two goals in its last five games and has been shut out in three of the last four.
