The Coyotes spent some of their downtime during a recent four-day hiatus reliving the slew of infractions that have made them frequent visitors to the penalty box lately.
“Each one in slow-motion replay,” coach Dave Tippett said.
While the team may not agree with every call, it’s hard to dispute the number of whistled-down plays as anything but concerning.
Before hosting the Canucks on Wednesday, the Coyotes had committed a season-high seven penalties in two of their previous three games.
“There’s some areas we can clean up,” Tippett said. “There’s some they’re going to be questionable calls, but those usually go both ways so you don’t worry about those.
