A day after undergoing surgery to repair fractured tibia and fibula bones in his right leg, Coyotes center Brad Richardson remained in a Vancouver hospital Saturday.
Richardson is expected to return to the Valley in the next day or two, and once he does, the Coyotes are likely to get a better idea of whether or not Richardson may be able to play again this season.
“Once (head athletic trainer) Jason (Serbus) talks to the surgeons (and we) get him back here with the doctor, we’ll put some kind of a time period on it,” coach Dave Tippett said.
