The Arizona Coyotes will be employing a different-looking lineup when they play host to the visiting Montreal Canadiens Thursday at Gila River Arena.
Coyotes head coach Rick Tocchet confirmed after Thursday's morning skate that newly acquired center Nick Schmaltz will indeed be split apart from Clayton Keller for the first time since the club acquired Schmaltz from the Chicago Blackhawks last month.
If the combinations from morning skate hold true for the game, Schmaltz would be centering a line with Alex Galchenyuk and Christian Fischer. Galchenyuk will be playing his first game against the Canadiens since being traded from Montreal in June.
