After falling to the fourth seed in the Pacific Division, the Coyotes have plenty of issues in their play to worry about as they try to reclaim a playoff spot.
They’d rather not add an illness to the mix.
The Coyotes canceled Wednesday’s practice, sending everyone home after a couple of players showed up at Gila River Arena with flu-like symptoms.
“Practice probably would have been better for us today, to tell you the truth,” coach Dave Tippett said. “But we got a back-to-back coming, and you want to make sure guys are healthy.”
Tippett is hopeful the entire roster will be available for Thursday’s game against the reigning Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks.
