Coyotes defenseman Michael Stone underwent surgery on his ACL and MCL Friday and will be out a minimum of six months.

“They went in and fixed things up and everything went well with the surgery, but it’s long-term,” coach Dave Tippett said.

Defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson, who missed Thursday’s game with illness, looks ready to return, but the Coyotes will be without center Martin Hanzal (upper-body injury). Center Laurent Dauphin, who was recalled from the American Hockey League Friday, will draw into the lineup.
