Coyotes Sign Treutle to One-Year Entry Level Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed goaltender Niklas Treutle to a one-year, entry-level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 24-year-old Treutle registered a 20-10-0 record with a .923 save percentage (SV%) and a 2.06 goals against average (GAA) in 30 games with Munich EHC (Deutsche Eishockey League) last season.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound native of Nuremberg, Germany also posted a 3-0-0 record and a 1.33 GAA in three games with Riessersee SC (Deutsche Eishockey League 2) in 2014-15.
