The Arizona Coyotes signings continued yesterday with the signing of Travis Boyd to a one-year contract.

The 27-year-old was originally drafted 177th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. The Minnesota native went to the University of Minnesota before joining the Capitals organization playing for the Hersey Bears.
Boyd spent two seasons in the AHL with the Bears and then spent the next three seasons splitting time between the Bears and the Capitals.
