Defenseman Kevin Connauton, who was claimed off waivers Wednesday from the Blue Jackets, won’t make his Coyotes debut tonight against the Red Wings.
“Good two-way defenseman,” coach Dave Tippett said. “A left shot that we’re trying to look to add some depth to our group. He won’t play tonight. He got in last night. We’ll let him watch tonight for a game, and then we’ll see where he’s at for the next game.
