Sometimes it takes the most devastating tragedies to reveal the true collectiveness of a community.
Such is the case with a mourning hockey community, all of whom remain in disbelief on Saturday after a bus crash killed 14 people and injured 14 others involved with a junior hockey team in western Canada’s Saskatchewan province.
According to Canadian authorities, members of the Humboldt Broncos hockey team were traveling to the town of Nipawin on Friday for a playoff game when the bus collided with a tractor-trailer near the town of Tisdale.
Three of the 14 injured remained in critical condition as of Saturday morning, according to Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
