Goalie Niklas Treutle will make his first NHL start tonight.
“When I signed with the team, I was hoping to get the chance one day,” Treutle said. “It took a while and finally it’s here, and I’m happy.”
Winger Alex Tanguay is questionable to make his Coyotes debut after getting acquired in a trade with the Avalanche Monday for winger Mikkel Boedker.
“He’s dealing with a couple minor things, but we just want to make sure he’s ready to play,” coach Dave Tippett said.
