GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes Assistant General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that the Coyotes have named Mike Bavis and Doug Janik as assistant coaches of the Springfield Falcons, the Coyotes’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. Ron Rolston was named Head Coach of the Falcons on June 18.
Bavis, 45, joins the Falcons after spending 15 seasons on Boston University’s men’s hockey coaching staff, including four seasons as associate coach.
He also served as a head coach or assistant coach at USA Hockey Select 15, 16, and 17 festivals and as a coach for the Mass/USA Hockey Satellite Training Program (STP).
