The Arizona Coyotes complete a three-game road trip Tuesday night in St. Louis without four regular players, two placed on injured reserve Monday and two who are in the NHL's COVID protocol.
Forward Christian Fischer, who suffered an upper-body injury against Chicago last Friday, missed the Nashville game Saturday. Teammate Dmitrij Jaskin suffered a leg injury when he was kneed and upended by the Predators' Mark Borowiecki in the first period and had to leave the game.
Borowiecki was not further disciplined by the NHL after a hearing with the league's department of player safety on Sunday, the ruling being that he braced for contact and did not extend his knee in a way that merits additional discipline beyond the game misconduct penalty he was given.
