J.J. Moser would not have believed anyone who told him he'd be playing in the NHL at age 21, not even a full year after being drafted. And yet, Moser is there, as a defenseman for the Arizona Coyotes with 34 games of experience to his name.
He also has his first NHL injury comeback.
Moser played 18 minutes, 30 seconds in 22 shifts on the ice for the Coyotes in their 6-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils Tuesday night at Gila River Arena. It was the rookie's first game since March 15 at Montreal, when he suffered a hand injury.
