GLENDALE, ARIZONA – The Arizona Coyotes announced today the start of a new reading program for local elementary schools that is congruent with Arizona’s literacy initiatives.
The goal for the Coyotes Reading Program is to support in-school reading curriculum for grades 2-4 by encouraging students to experience the joy of reading while developing literacy skills and receiving special Coyotes memorabilia for their accomplishments.
Teachers at the 2-4 grade level signed up online on a first come first serve basis (limited to first 50 teachers for each grade level). The teachers will then be able to pick up the reading program package at Gila River Arena on December 1st and 2nd.
