The Coyotes returned to the ice for a game on Tuesday night, which was welcomed by head coach André Tourigny.
He'd grown tired of using the same game video for instructional reasons and was looking forward to talking about a game. The Coyotes played only two games between Dec. 17 and Jan. 3. While there was a Christmas break in between, the rest of the time was for practicing for most players, getting through the NHL COVID-19 protocol for a few others and getting rest.
Five games were postponed due to issues related to COVID-19 throughout the NHL over those two-plus weeks, and there could yet be more re-scheduled.
