Coyotes game-less in Seattle after NHL postpones game vs. Kraken

As it turned out, the Arizona Coyotes' three-game road trip that would have been completed Tuesday night in Seattle consisted of one game and two practices.

The Coyotes were expected to head back to Arizona on Monday night after the NHL announced the postponement of their scheduled game against the Seattle Kraken. Coupled with the postponement of the Coyotes' game at Vancouver that was set for Sunday, the team played just one game — last Friday in Anaheim — on the trip.

The postponement of Tuesday's game was due to COVID-19 related issues affecting the Kraken, which had three positive tests since Saturday in addition to the three players just released from COVID-19 protocol on Monday, according to The Seattle Times.
