The Coyotes played their travel cards correctly after Friday night's overtime win over the Anaheim Ducks. They decided to stay in California on Saturday and fly up to Vancouver B.C. on the same day as their game against the Canucks on Sunday.
Now, their travel plans have changed. The NHL on Saturday announced the postponement of several games slated for Saturday, Sunday and into next week as positive tests and players entering the league's COVID-19 protocol continue to grow. One of those was the Coyotes-Canucks game, which the league said was due to a number of Toronto and Vancouver players entering COVID protocol over the past two days.
