The Arizona Coyotes dropped their seventh straight game tonight against the Tampa Bay Light to open the season 0-6-1. And for the second time this season, they allowed multiple goals in the span of five minutes.
After Monday’s loss to the Florida Panthers, it was nice to see the Coyotes start with some urgency. Liam O’Brien and Pat Maroon dropped the gloves at the opening faceoff, and you could tell the Coyotes were ready to go.
The Panthers had shut the Coyotes down in the neutral zone, forcing them to spend most of the first two periods playing defense.
