Coyotes Game 30 Recap: Coyotes give up 3 unanswered goals, drop fifth straight game

The Arizona Coyotes played 30 or so minutes of an effective hockey game against the Anaheim Ducks. They walk away with a much-needed point, but they can not be happy with what happened.

Things started so well for the Desert Dogs. After being limited to one goal in three games against the Minnesota Wild, they made it on the scoresheet early.

Nick Schmaltz recovered the puck in the corner of the offensive zone and sent it to Conor Garland in front of the net. Garland fired the past home, and just over a minute into the game, the Coyotes had a 1-0 lead.
