Coyotes’ Fischer signed to two-year, one-way deal

The Arizona Coyotes have signed pending restricted free agent Christian Fischer to a two-year, one-way deal.

Fischer was the last major restricted free agent that the Coyotes had left to sign. Craig Morgan was the first to report the deal.

Fischer was drafted by the Coyotes in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft 32nd overall. He spent most of the 2016-17 season with the Tucson Roadrunners, playing in only seven games with the Coyotes. His time with the Coyotes was short, but he scored three goals the seven games, and he looked like he would be a steady part of the Coyotes’ offense.
