The battle of the bottom two teams in the NHL's Western Conference went to the Seattle Kraken, which rallied for a 4-2 win over the Coyotes Tuesday night at Gila River Arena.
Nick Schmaltz and Nick Ritchie scored the first two Coyotes goals, Ritchie's sixth since he joined the Coyotes on Feb. 25. Arizona led 2-1 with those, but Carson Soucy broke the tie with his second goal of the night before the second period ended.
Morgan Geekie's third-period goal sealed Seattle's win in their second-ever visit to Glendale.
With the loss, the Coyotes (20-38-4, 44 points) lost their third straight and moved two points below the Kraken (20-38-6) for the worst record in the West.
