The Arizona Coyotes under General Manager Bill Armstrong have shown that they are willing to make a trade to get what they want.
They did it yesterday when they sent Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Conor Garland to Vancouver for the ninth overall pick at the 2021 draft, a second-round pick in 2022, a seventh-round pick in 2023, and veterans Loui Eriksson, Jay Beagle, and Antoine Roussel. And there is a very real chance the Coyotes can do it again today.
Current Coyotes Picks:
Round 2: 37 (Ottawa's through Columbus from Derek Stepan trade), 43, and 60 (from New York Islanders from Andrew Ladd trade)
Round 3: N/a
Round 4: 107 and 122 (Pittsburgh's through Alex Galchenyuk trade)
Round 5: 139
Round 6: 171
The Yotes having three second-round picks gives the Coyotes plenty of room to make moves if they come up.
