It seems apparent that when the Coyotes said center Jay Beagle would get a second medical opinion on his lower body injury, that diagnosis for Beagle was out long-term.
To address that, the Coyotes added another veteran center, Riley Nash, off waivers on Thursday. Nash, 32, played in 25 games this season between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Winnipeg Jets and has yet to register a point
"We've been banged up down the middle," Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong told Arizona Sports 98.7 Thursday afternoon. "He can play kind of play from your first line all the way down to your fourth line.
