This is exactly the kind of game the Arizona Coyotes and their fans needed. Going up against another playoff team in the St. Louis Blues the Coyotes came out strong. They hit the ice running and never looked back.
The first period was by far the best period of the Coyotes season, especially when they beat the Blues in shots on goal 23 to 7. Not only were they getting shots on net, for once the shots were going in the net. The Coyotes exited the first period up 4-0, and 10 different Coyotes’ players exited the period with points.
