Coyotes blow lead, give up three goals in third period in loss to Kings

The Arizona Coyotes were 20 minutes away from their longest winning streak of the season. But they gave up three third-period goals to the Los Angeles Kings and blew a pair of two-goal leads in a 4-3 loss Wednesday night.

Arizona looked headed for a win with a 3-1 lead after two periods. But Carl Grundstrom scored on a deflection with 6:05 to play to give the Kings their third unanswered goal, and the Coyotes could not rally as their three-game win streak ended.

Coyotes defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin scored his first career NHL goal in his 118th NHL game and third season.
