Coyotes Assign Jeffrey to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Dustin Jeffrey to the Springfield Falcons, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 27-year-old Jeffrey registered 0-1-1 and a plus-2 rating in one game with the Coyotes this season. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound native of Sarnia, Ontario has also recorded 5-7-12 and two penalty minutes (PIM) in 10 games with the Falcons. He led Springfield in goals, assists and points at the time of his recall.

Jeffrey was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the sixth round (171st overall) in the 2007 Entry Draft.
