GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Craig Cunningham to the Springfield Falcons (AHL), the club’s American Hockey League Affiliate.
The 25-year-old Cunningham averaged 10:35 of ice time in six games with the Coyotes. The native of Trail, British Columbia registered 5-4-9 and six penalty minutes (PIM) in 12 games with the Falcons this season before being recalled by the Coyotes on Nov. 15.
Cunningham was originally drafted by the Bruins in the fourth round (97th overall) in the 2010 Entry Draft and acquired by the Coyotes off waivers from Boston on March 2, 2015.
